Japan Travel
Japan is a country filled with variety. Starting with the climate – beautiful tropical beaches where you can dive and snorkel with tropical fish amongst coral gardens down south to the Snow country of central Japan which gets buried by relentless snow storms every winter, Japan has something to surprise you no matter where you look.
Japan doesn’t have to be expensive
Long gone are the dizzying days of the bubble and the rich image conjured up when most people think Japan is a complete myth. The economic mood in Japan has been depressed for a very long time and it seems that there is no end in sight. If you are trying to stretch your holiday budget, don’t rule out Japan.
Japan is an easy place to get around
You needn’t worry about not speaking Japanese. Japan is clean, safe and ultra convenient, making it a travellers delight. Trains are frequent, on time, and almost all of the time there are signs in English, and even announcements in English on the major lines. English is not widely spoken in Japan, but all Japanese seem to know a few words which will likely come out when needed most.
Culture, Food, History, Adventure
Snowboarding and Skiing powder snow is a great reason to plan a trip to Japan. But if you are looking for a side trip the choices are endless and ideas only limited by your imagination; stand in a 1000 year old temple gazing up at a giant buddha in Nara, do the dance of fools (the fools are those not dancing) with thousands of others in Tokushima, people watch in wild and wacky Harajuku, stock up on electronics with the nerds in Akihabara, Soak in an onsen gazing out at Mt. Fuji, Enjoy the freshest sushi on the planet at Tsukiji or Namazu… A few weeks in Japan will be action packed and only enough to get a taste!
