We have had a couple of pretty good days in Nozawa Onsen. Two days ago looking out the window with only a few cm on the ground noone would have guessed that there was shin deep powder to be found up at Yamabiko. Yesterday the mountain was freshened up with a few more inches, although the best conditions were to be had in the morning with fog rolling in for the afternoon and warm temperatures too.
Today is fine and clear with some stunning views showing on the resort webcams. It should be quite firm this morning. Make the most of today, it is set to be a bumper weekend with almost everywhere in town fully booked.
