Open Areas: Currently no lifts are operating. The resort will open when sufficient snow falls allow
The Nagasaka Gondola is moving at the moment, although no passengers are on board. Obviously they are doing checks to make sure it is ready to go when snow conditions allow. The village is shrouded in low cloud at present, but up high it is clear and there are some beautiful vistas above a sea of cloud to be seen on the resort webcams.
Snow is expected on Thursday throughout the day and over night to the top of the mountain, it is doubtful however that it will be enough to get things going. We may have to continue to wait until the next fall to see some lifts moving.
