Open Areas: Almost everything is open except Kurokura and Hachiman. Kandahar is open on both sides.
Today has been another fine day on the mountain, reminiscent of a nice day in March. The snow at the top of the mountain has held up pretty well all in all, and it was a fun day up there. Yamabiko is just holding on snow quality wise, however the rest of the mountain is rock hard in the morning and sherbetty in the afternoon.
We are looking at further deterioration of the conditions tomorrow, as heavy rain is expected. I am sure most people will be looking past that and concentrating on the weather which is due to come in over the weekend. The storm looks big enough to reset the whole mountain and hopefully shephard in a fantastic February…. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
