Shiga Kogen Mountain

Shiga Kogen is a huge area made up of a series of interconnecting resorts. It is easily the largest ski area in Japan and just driving from one end to the other takes over half an hour. Apart from size, Shiga Kogen is also popular for the amazing snow quality. Due to its altitude the snow is bone dry and light as a feather.
